Basil Yassin, the visionary behind Yava, embarked on a remarkable journey. With a background in telecommunication marketing, he dared to chase his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. Basil’s journey began with Kad Che, a wholesome comfort food cafe, which he introduced in 2017. However, fate had other plans, and as the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the world, Kad Che’s location became untenable. It was amidst these challenges that the idea of Yava blossomed.

Yava stands as a testament to Basil’s innovation and deep connection to his roots. Inspired by his Palestinian heritage and nurtured by his childhood experiences, Yava is an embodiment of his vision. Our menu showcases the flavors of the Mediterranean region with a distinct Palestinian touch. Each dish is a masterpiece, carefully crafted to offer a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
